Faults and Failures:

Major:

None

Minor:

1. FIXED - Minor software bug not saving the creep mode

2. FIXED - Some other settings not being remembered as profile

3. 17 miles missing from journey log

4. Outstanding - CCS Charger connection not working on EcoTricity chargers (this is a known issue and one that lies with the pump manufacturer, not the car)

5. Temporarily fixed - The free 500Mb data allowance for Jaguar InControl isn’t enough. 4 hrs driving in one day used 50Mb purely for Traffic and navigation.

6. New - Cannot remove SIM card from slot. New part ordered.

7. New - Creaking from brake pedal - Informed that TADTS!

Notes:

There have been 2 charging issues to deal with. Firstly a GeniePoint charger in Kendal that refused to play ball on CCS. It worked on AC Type 2 but we specifically went there to charge for a longer journey. Secondly, trying to find a charger in blackpool at October half-term was a problem. We eventually found the Best Western PodPoint (one bay free, the other ICE’d). However this failed after 15 minutes either because it failed to regsiter in the app or a power cut. This forced us to make a specifc rapid charge stop on our route

The worst for access was in Cardiff (pictured) which required a many point turn to get in and out of the bay.

Charging away from home accounted for just over 52% of the total energy used

Prices ranging from Most expensive £0.36/kWh at GeniePoint Worcester to FREE (55 kWh’s worth) mainly thank to my Mother-in-law.

The balance of charging done at home using a 7 kWh Zappi Charger at £0.15/kWh

Most efficient Journey (greater than 5 miles) 298 Wh/mile collecting @carlacapture from work when her ICE vehicle threw up a warning light

Least efficient Journey (greater than 5 miles) 500 Wh/mile getting to a charger in Kendal that then failed to work on Rapid charge and resulted in a less than satisfactory 7.5kWh charge!
